Some questions before upgrading from 745 to 265

Considering to upgrade from FR745 to FR265.

In addition to some new feature, one main reason of upgrade is that the stress detection of 745 is very inaccurate, maybe because it does not support wrist HRV. Would like to ask 265 owners, how accurate is the stress detection and body battery of 265, does it reflect how your body feel?

Another question is that I really like the 7 days training load on the 745 official watch face, is there anything similar on 265? Did browse thru internet but did not see any, any 265 owner would confirm this?

Thanks in advance!

  • From somebody that upgrades from a 745 to a 255 (so except the screen the rest is the same)... stress detection and body battery seem more or less the same to me, but I may be wrong. For me it has worked pretty well most of the time, but yeah, sometimes can be way off.

About the 7 days training load in the watch face, not sure about that, but 255 should have that field available for watch faces.

For me the most important "upgrades" are battery (easily twice the battery time!) and GPS precision if you run in narrow streets or other places with poor GPS reception. And for the 265, obviously the screen (but I like the MIPS screen when I am running outdoors, I live in a very sunny place, YMMV)

       Kurt.-

  • I think the stress measurement should be the same for both.

You will be disappointed if you upgrade in anticipation for a better stress.

Buy 265 only if you need the extra features.
