Forerunner 265s No Longer Able to Sync after software upate

I got the Forerunner 265s yesterday and it worked perfectly, this morning I have updated to 4.19 and it no longer will sync, I have tried the usual turning on and off and havee reset the watch, uninstalled Garmin Connect but nothing seems to help.

Can anyone help otherwise I will have to send the watch back.

  • I received a new 965 (replacement device) this am and didn't have similar issues since setting it up and updating to 4.19. Can you connect and sync to the computer?

    When Ive had BT / Sync issues i did the following:

    1. Forget the watch in the BT settings

    2. Uninstall GC App

    3. Soft restart the watch (hold in light button until it shuts down completely, then start it again)

    4. reinstall GC app on phone and sign in

    5. Re-Pair the watch to the GC App.

    Hope it may help , although you seem to have done that already

  • Usually related to your BT.

    I updated to 4.19 a few days back.

  • Thank you both for your help. I managed to fix it by doing a hard reset on the watch, I had to hold down 3 buttons and then release them 1 at a time, this worked straight away
