Swipe right functionality?

I've recently upgraded from a Vivoactive 4 to a FR 265.  On my Vivoactive 4, I was able to set "swipe right" to "Stopwatch" so that I could quickly start a timer on the watch without stepping through the various menus to find it.

So far, my 265 has NO functionality for "swipe right" - am I missing something or is this maybe a feature that is coming in a future update?

Thanks,

Andy

  • Per the manual for the 265, it has Hot Keys (settings>system>hot keys on the watch).  There you can define  various actions to long presses of keys/key combos.   Much more flexible than just handing the swipe for the stop watch.

  • Great idea on a workaround for stopwatch quick access, .

However its a missed usability opportunity to have up and down, but not left and right

Most full featured smart watches do.  I hope Garmin closes the gap between sports watch and smart watch.

I'm mean jeez, we can't even view let alone edit calendar entries. Browse once in morning report, then poof... gone.
