Watch switching back to activity after saving a run

So this is happening since the last update:

I go for a run and when it's time to end it I stop and save as usual, I go back to the home screen and after a bit the watch goes back to the run app ready to start a new activity. So it's also looking for GPS signals and using more battery. What is going on??

I used a 965 with same Firmware and it had the same issue. You save and exit and it switches back to the run app.

Is it just me?

No that's not possible. The only way to start another activity is pressing the Start button. I save, exit the app and return to home screen. After a few seconds/minutes it's back in running app.

Since this sometimes happens after a few seconds...can you start/save a test activity and capture this on video? May I have permission to reach out to you via to further investigate?

it happened again after Today’s run but didn’t have my phone with me so couldn’t take a video. Will try Tomorrow. I’m using an HRM-Pro chest strap as well. This is a massive issue.
