Settings are:
A CIQ Watchface
AOD on
One turns the wrist and Watchface switches from Low Power to High Power.
If you now hit the display with your hand, the High Power mode should switch back to Low Power.
Instead, the display starts to flicker until it finally switches to Low Power.
And even then it still flickers.
I made a video of it and uploaded it to Imgur.
It's difficult to capture on video, though, because the display basically already flickers slightly when recording a video.
However, it is 100% reproducible and appears with every CIQ watchface.
With a standard Garmin watchface it works as it should.
