As the title says, it seems everything else seems to have made it to the FR265 but HRV status says to wait again for three weeks. Is this expected behavior? Thanks.
Same here going from FR255 to FR265 - have to wait 3 weeks. In another week I'll be getting a replacement FR265 (my current one gets Media Error Occurred messages). So for me it will be a total of 5 weeks until I get to see HRV. In addition HRV is one of the factors that goes into Training Readiness so an "accurate" Training Readiness score is still in my distant future.
My understanding is two things impact this:
A) Ensuring your on the absolute latest firmware on your previous device (as there's soe slight tweaks there to seed the newer devices). If you aren't on the latest firmware on that older device, update, then sleep one more night with it set as the Primary Wearable & Training Device (you can wear both watches if you want).
B) Ensuring that during setup of your new device, you agree to change it to the new FR265/FR965 as your Primary Wearable/Training Device - which if you didn't, you can find easily on Garmin Connect Mobile under Settings.
Assuming you do all that, then HRV Status and Training Readiness should show up in full after a single night's sleep. Basically, it syncs just about everything out of the box as-is, and then when you wake-up the following morning everything should be fully in step. That's been my and my wife's experience with testing a bunch of these watches lately. But again, being on the most recent firmware is super critical to this.
