There have been many issues with squishy and/or irregular button feel in previous devices.
My 265 buttons feel and act just fine. For what it's worth my 255 buttons also felt and acted fine even though others reported issues.
Same for me. The 265 is great. Buttons feel perfect
They feel as clicky and good as on my Epix. They also feel much better than on my wife’s 255 which had really bad buttons.

On par with the FR745, and better than the FR230 (which were kinda squishy & inconsistent).
I got the 265s the buttons are so nice. I had tried the 255 and sent it back cos the buttons were squishy then I got the 955 and the buttons were squishy but I couldn't send it back cos I scratched it. I hated it. The 265s is perfect
