Why is Google map navigation not available FR255

Why is Google Navigation, which can be downloaded from the Connect IQ store, not available for the Forerunner 255?

Apparently you don't know and don't understand that this IQ app is not written by Garmin, and calling people names doesn't require a lot of intelligence or knowledge…

Yeah, it seems pretty arbitrary that it supports the FR955 and not FR255.

As far as I know, the two devices listed the same kinds of CIQ app memory capacity, last time I saw the spec details.

Following up my own question... the most likely reason I can figure is that they are only supporting devices with the newer Vector Font feature in the Garmin Toybox.Graphics API.

Even though I find it absurd, it seems the kind of thing I'd expect out of Google.

And, I can't help wonder if the lack of vector fonts on FR255 goes back to the "Garmin is greedy" answer above. Did they really use a different system on chip that lacks something here for FR255, or just decide to ignore it for product segmentation?
