All,
We are aware of the disruption of devices displaying a blue triangle when starting a GPS activity. Holding the power button until the unit powers off may or may not restore functionality temporarily…
All,
Thank you very much for your patience as we worked on this issue. Please see the steps from My Garmin Device Will Not Boot Past the Start Up Screen for a resolution. If you already performed the steps…
Although appreciated, it's completely absurd the only guidance we have are some other users suggesting button combinations to get these devices to power back on but not resolve this issue. Where is…
Yep, bricked Forerunner 255. I started a walk and flashing triangle. A soft reset does nothing.
I'm not using beta firmware; had an update about a week ago.
Additionally the Connect app on my phone…
I did this and it worked ! Thinks !
I had exactly the same today on my Forerunner 265 when starting a run activity. It’s alive again, after performing a factory reset.
Wtf happened?
Will there be an app update/patch ?
Is there a patch coming soon or app update
Same thing here, I tried to apply the fix posted, and initially it worked. However when I tried to use the watch again for a run, the blue triangle came back immediately
Garmin trying to tell us it's time to upgrade to Coros
If the button press sequence was successful (your watch is now on) but you are unable to connect with the app, make sure you're removing the watch from the Connect app, removing/unpairing it from your phone's Bluetooth menu, and then re-adding the watch to the app. These steps are listed in the first two steps of Remove and Add a Device From the Garmin Connect App!
Im running the International Miami Half Marathon this coming sunday, Im kind in the middle of a trouble with my blue triangle Garmin problem here
Can you give us a hint at what is causing the problems?
I had a run 5 hours ago, no problems with the watch. Two things that I think could have help are: I have auto-update off, and the phone was out of BT range during the run.
I'm scared to try to start an activity now, to check if the BT connection has something to do with it.
So... Any official explanation of the problem?
