Is anyone else experiencing this? Since I upgraded my battery is dropping very fast.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Since I upgraded my battery is dropping very fast.
Yes, same issue here. It usually occurs after the first activity I record after a full charge:
- I perform a full charge, the battery usage is normal after that
- I perform a run activity (I mainly run…
I notice greater battery consumption and a lack of precision with the rhythm.
Agreed. Also, it hasn't been a problem previously and then all of the sudden it is? I haven't changed my settings in well over a year and now the battery level just plummets, not only during the night…
Yes, same issue here. It usually occurs after the first activity I record after a full charge:
- I perform a full charge, the battery usage is normal after that
- I perform a run activity (I mainly run, I did not test with other sports), then right after the battery is dropping VERY fast (10% within 4 hours!)
Some workaround to mitigate that:
- I perform a factory reset: it did not seem to fix anything
- After an activity, after syncing it with garmin connect, I reboot the watch, the phone => it mitigates the battery drain.
- I tried to disconnect the phone from the watch (cut off bluetooth): does not solve anything
- I tried to cut the bluetooth on my android phone. It seems to help a bit (maybe something linked with garmin connect)
I ran on sunday morning, today I have lost 20% of battery.
(for the records, pulse OX is off).
Tak ja doświadczam, zużycie mam na 0,9%/h co daje około 21%/dobę.
same here, out of nowhere, the watch dies and when I connect cabel and turn on again, the battery is empty. It happened 3 times in a week, so not every day... Once I noticed the watch being hot/warm, the other two times, I couldn't notice any heat.
I notice greater battery consumption and a lack of precision with the rhythm.
Yes. Watch goes from 100% to 80% in one night. Garmin support have been woeful as they told me just deactivate pulse ox overnight and then it's within parameters. Not happy at all, why even have a feature if I'm just to disable it?

Yes i confirm ! Same issue here !!
I changed my watch place to a simpler one and didn't experience any battery drops since then. Not sure if that's a reason, I also tried to change many other settings. Also I'm still not trusting the calm yet ;)
Maybe you can try it and give Feedback here?!
