Spotify - Content Expired warning after update - Still not resolved

Reading in other threads that Garmin confirmed the issue is known and resolved, but my watch is still saying "Content Expired" even after updating downloads and app. 

Is there any update on this issue today (April 24, 10am ET)?

I have a Forerunner 245 Music.

  • Hey, I started with the same problem on my F245 Music. The problem has now moved into wifi not being able to connect. It is a pre-requisite that the watch has access to wifi before updating/downloading Spotify music library.

    I have tried everything and nothing works. I filed a support case to my local Garmin office and they only offered to repair the watch for a big fee. Not desirable for a watch that old, and my main reason for having the watch (music) has disappeared.

    My actions:

    Reset watch

    Connect to laptop for Garmin Express software update: all updated 13.70 software

    Connect to wifi 2.4 Ghz with and without password

    Connect to mobile hotspot

    Added wifi via the Garmin Connect app
