Forerunner 245 - No connection with App

Hi,

Since one week connection is not possible any more. I did not change anything from my side.

Other Garmin devices work properly (Edge 1030, Index 2).

I tried:

- restarting phone

- restarting Forerunner 245

- removed Forerunner 245 from App

- re-coupling with App (app recognizes the Forerunner, but configuration fails)

- connected via USB to PC  with Garmin Express to check for Update

- Garmin App removed and reinstalled on phone

- checked for permissions (gps, contacts, etc.)

Anx idea?

  • The only thing you did not mention is connecting Garmin customer support. They'll probably tell you to try a factory reset of the watch, and then maybe offer you a refurbished replacement for some cash

  • Factory reset was a good idea, but with bad result.

    Now I have the blue triangle of death. Not working any more, only the blue logo on the screen 

    Edit: Problem solved. Seems that the factory reset takes several minutes - 15 or something like that.

    Now it's reconnected and synchronizing.
