Hi everyone, just trying to see if someone has any wild idea on how to solve this, since I have a race coming up in a month and I do not have a way to sync the watch properly
It all started a quite a few months ago with when the watch just started to disconnect the BT headphones randomly during a run and taking forever (and a few re-pairing attempts) to reconnec the headphones. Spotify started to have some randoms crashes when sync the downloads. At some point I just gave up since I was running with the phone anyways so I used that.
Then the watch started to randomly disconnect the BT from my iPhone 15 Pro. And I need to do a few "turn off / on" for the watch to reconnect. After a few weeks, it started to require soft resets to solve the issue. And then it got worse, with the watch not able to connect to the phone, with only a hard reset was able to pair it and it worked for a few days.
After a few more weeks, the watch wouldn't connect to the phone at all, even after a hard reset and the connect app reinstalled, it was pairing and then dropping the BT connection after 5min. At this point I started to sync it via wifi or usb.
Now the watch started to failed the sync on wifi and after a full hard reset (with all data deleted), it wont even: pair to a phone (stucked on "initializing" and failing that after a while), cannot find any wifi network since I haven't paired, the only thing that it sometimes works is sync activities via usb. I cannot see the watch even on discoverable devices
I'm on version software 13.70 (55e840a) and iOS 18 on my iPhone 15 Pro.
Any solution or idea will be greatly appreciated, tech service where I live is unavailable and garmin support via the web hasnt replied. I cannot afford a new watch before the race so anything that help me recover, even if it is a weird way to rollback the software version, is appreciated. I do not know if there is another way of firmware reset via usb that I haven't discover yet
PS: I work on software, so I already tried things like pairing another Garmin to the phone to be sure that works properly, or trying to pair the watch to other iPhones.
