FR245 bluetooth always fails to connect to mobile phone

Hi all, I have a FR245 for over 2 yeras, everything looks fine until recent half years. The watch and my phone would not be able to pair with bluetooth once every several weeks. No matter I restart the phone or the watch, both sides still unable to make the connection. The only solution is to delete Garmin Connect and do the whole pairing process again like a new watch. But it only works for about 2 weeks then suddenly the pairing failed again. Anyone has the same problem? Thanks!

I have the same issue, now it seems that the BT/wireless module is death. I created a post but is "waiting moderation" to see if there is any other way to solve it. Seems like something started corrupting the module a while ago and it gets worse with time

Garmin is brand always let me down after having several different products. Either GPS does not work, BT is hard to connect or battery drain suddenly increase after FW update. Even the on/off switch of expensive Edge bike computer would break and cannot get it repaired which makes many users angry and helpless. I changed to Huawei GT watch which is cheap but more stable. At least it can make BT connection to my phone everytime and receive notifications perfectly. For bike computer, I bought a Sigma to replace it.
