My forerunner watch isnt connecting to the connect app after i reinstalled it on my phone

It cannot find the watch even if i place it on the phone. I rebooted the watch, the phone an the app multiple times. I reinstalled the app multiple times. I switched bluetooth on and off again on both devices. Garmin express tells me the software on the forerunner is up to date. The connect app is up to date. Any ideas what I am doin wrong? I have a samsung a15 5g. It worked before, i reinstalled it because i reset my phone to factory settings.

  • I had the same problem with multiple Garmin watches. The solution for me was to unpair the phone in the watch menu, and unpair the watch from the android Bluetooth setting, then (just to be on the safe side) restart both devices and then when I tried "from scratch" it worked (with some watches it still took more than one retries though, so don't give up)
