Has anyone had any issues with their forerunner 245 picking up someone else's heartrate while running together? If so, how do fix it so my watch does not pick theirs up?
Thank you!!

See thread and possible answer - I have a forerunner 55 and it sometimes picks up others heart rate. How can I stop this?
ANT sensors have an ID, that is a 16 or 20 bit number. When you connect your sensor in the watch menu it displays it (also in the About menu). There's a chance, while small, but nevertheless non 0, that one of your friends has a device that has the same ANT ID. So if you started an activity without your sensor or it haven't connected for some reason, and your friend passes by you, the watch will see: oh, here's an ANT sensor, and it's ID is is in my sensors' list, so I'll connect to it.
An easier, though less common way this could happen is if you use a data field (i.e: ANT+ HRM apps.garmin.com/.../7c83d402-4b68-4f0a-b167-7139788a19b3 ) with the default configuration, so it connects to the closest (highest signal strength) ANT HRM at the time you open (even before you start) the activity. Then it remembers that ANT ID until the end of the activity, so even if your friend gets far from you and you then put on your HRM, it's already paired to your friend's and won't connect to yours.
