Can't get my Running Dynamics Pod to connect to my Forerunner 245

Does anyone have an idea as to why my Running Dynamics Pod won't sync with my Forerunner 245? I put in a new battery and it still won't sync / pair. Thank you

Please remove the RD Pod from your watch's sensor list. Power the watch off/on, and then try adding the RD Pod back as a new sensor (wake the pod by shaking it vertically).
