How Adaptive is Garmin Coaching?

Does the Garmin Coach adapt to all stimuli or just those acquired from running/cycling (depending on the chosen activity)? 

I chose a running plan from the Garmin Coach, but I also cycle multiple times a week - will the running be adapted based on the load from cycling? And even more than that will it adapt based on other factors like poor sleep etc (basically go based on the body battery score)?

  • I don't believe so.  I've gone through several plans, and honestly I think the only thing it does is have you repeat some easy workouts if you don't make the targets. It doesn't even seem to pay attention to running workouts you do that aren't in the plan, for instance if you do a workout without specifically telling the watch you're doing the assigned coach workout.
