How to delete courses from Garmin 245 that don't appear in Garmin Connect

Just successfully added another ultra race route to my Garmin Forerunner 245, it still has several old ones there. I am worried about it running out of room on there so want to delete the old ones that I can see on the watch screen and still have access to. It says online I need to do this in Garmin Connect, one old course shows if I click on the favourites tab but with no option to delete it. The new course is showing under the My Courses tab with the option of a bin to click on for deleting, but none of the other old ones. Eh? Where are they hiding? No filters selected. Same on GC app and desktop. Thanks if you can help!

Do you want to still have the routes on the Garmin server, if so , I would delete directly off the watch itself. That way you still have the routes available and can send back to device later.

It is possible to have routes in the watch that are no longer in connect if you deleted from Connect at some stage. i.e. in my recollection they don't sync so to say with the watch, one effectively forces an upload to the watch at some stage.

Thats is my recollection..

You can also connect the watch to laptop/mac and interogate the device drive and take a copy of the route file for later usage if necessary.
