Garmin 245 Music won’t connect/lock on to GPS

My Garmin 245 music will not lock on/connect to GPS, I’m away from buildings and have waited for 20+ minutes. My wife’s 245 watch connected within 10 seconds. I’ve tried resetting completely and still no luck. Please help!

Update the watch over the USB cable with Garmin Express on a computer. It will install any new firmware updates, as well as the latest ephemeris data.

Unfortunately I’ve tried this and hasn’t fixed the issue
