Using newly downloaded Data Fields

I downloaded new data fields from the ICQ store successfully and can see on the watch and Gamin Connect app. Looks like I have to add to the running app activity screen in order to register any data? Can you not just have the fields present, enabled, etc.. and not show on the watch? I would not have enough space to add everything I want to see during my running activity. How does this work?

You can't. The data field needs to be added to one of the data screens.

Just add another data screen and put your IQ data fields in there. It doesn't have to be visible all the time, as long as it is present on one of your data screens.
