Long run data mess

Morning all,

I've been following a 13 week 5k programme on my 245, on week 12 and all has been good. Today was 5 minute warm up, run walk run 8 miles and 5 minute cool down.

I did the warm up and the 8 mile, when the 8 mile hit 0.00, the screen flashed cool down and then immediately came up work out ended.

Weird, but I saved it and stretched off. Then it flashed up with records for fastest 5k, fastest 10k, fastest mile and longest run (9.07m). All of which I know are wrong, the total run was 8 mile plus the warm-up of 0.25 mile so 8.25 mile not 9.07. It flashed up my 10k was 48 minutes, when I know it was 55. It also says average pace 7.45/mile, and best pace 8.14/mile. Images for reference.

Also on the lap section, it shows my first 7 mile correct and then my last mile as 1192 minutes?

Can I edit / correct it or just leave it?

  • When you look at the GPS track was there a glitch?  Or were you perhaps in a pedestrian tunnel or other no-GPS zone as you ended your run?

I have had a similar thing happen when the GPS decided that I was waaaay over there and then suddenly right back here, so it decided I had run that fast and that far.  I had to delete that run to get rid of the spurious records, and then it didn't default to the next fastest (real) records, but rather forgot all of them.
