Workout screen, 2 or 3 fields?

Back in late 2022, I temporarily upgraded from a 235 to the 955 but I discovered (among other problems) the "workout screen" (meaning the default screen that turns on when one starts a workout) has only 2 fields instead of three on the 235 (the average pace for the current interval is missing on 955).

Moreover, on 235 the "workout screen" was dynamically changing depending on the type of interval (distance- or time-based interval) so one didn't have to manually scroll to a different screen during a workout.  So for example a 1.0mi ON interval followed by a 3:00 REC interval would display a different field on the same default "workout screen".

I ended up returning my 955 and fast forward to today my 235 is dead :( I assume the 255 has the same issue so I wanted to ask the 245 forum if that feature is still intact on 245.  I don't want to necessarily buy the latest and greatest if a beloved feature is missing.

PS
This issue was documented on the 955 forum here:
