I'm seeing the same issue recently? Maybe linked to the upgrade to 12.0?
Same here since some release.
I had to reconfigure all sensors to use Ant+ rather than Bluetooth. It helps to stop a bit the huge drain!
Now I drain 15% per hour during an activity (no music - gps, him, stryd and temperature sensor)
After an activity, I drain 0% per hour during some hours!!!???
Per hour, it is 1% per hour. The battery should be up 3-4 days with no activity. As I run each day, the drain is a problem.
I can't say if the battery drains or if the fault is on the battery level measure...
I'm quite sure it is a software issue. So many people has the problem in the same time...
Before, the watch consumed 9% per day with everything turned off, without making any activated, only active heart.
Now I consume 15-20% of battery per day with only the heart!
Without doing any activity the battery runs out in 4-5 days, before without doing any activity
it lasted more than 7 days
Have you all tried a soft reset?
Connect the watch with Garmin Express via cable, sync it, then press „light“ button on top left for around 15 seconds, until the watch is forced to shut down.
Wait a little, it will restart (if not, press the button to start it), let it boot and sync.
No data or settings will be lost
That's the first thing I tried before bed. Went to bed after restart at 100%, woke up at 56%. I'm gonna contact customer support. This started happening after the update 2 updates this past month we got.
