FW 11.60 GPS Accuracy

After the last update, the gps accuracy is very poor. The path leads through buildings and trees. The pace jumps and the watch misses the signal.

When my wfie used watch with FW 11.10 there was no problems like that

I think is it software problem not hardware, but who knows.

So it seems not to be a general problem of the Software version. Is the GPS firmware up to date? And what about the CPE on your device?

new version of FW (beta) with new GPS FW 6.60 already downloaded. Now only check how good od bad it will be ;)

I can confirm this absolutely (I'm from Germany). Normally it took only seconds up to 1 minute at a maximum to get a stable GPS signal when starting an activity. But for some days now, I tooks 10-15 Minutes and seems to loose signal sometimes while running. I hesitate to factory reset my watch, because I'll loose fitness level then.

Can more people confirm issues with GPS on FR 245 with FW 11.60?

GPS firmware is last one from general FW, CPE always actual ;)

Can you check if Garmin Pay is available?

11.73 change log mentions Garmin Pay updates and bug fixes (for Music version only).

When this has happened to my watch after updates (sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't), a factory reset has solved the slow GPS connection and restored it to 10-20 seconds to lock. Follow the instructions here https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=AXV7LuWgc73v21nq6nbDa6 to backup your settings. It will restore everything except for your alarms, the order of widget screens and quick controls on your watch, and the order of activities you prefer (it backs up the data screen arrangements for your activities), so I recommend taking pictures of your watch screens before doing it. You'll be much happier after the factory reset.

Your fitness level is saved in your Garmin account and won't get reset.

Got GPS update from 5.30 to 5.50 today. Will have a look at it.

New beta, with GPS FW 6.60 is much better. Tested while walking and running.

Took me 10 minutes to lock GPS last time as well. I thought it was because of the clouds.
