FR245 11.60 crashes/reboots while starting activities

I just installed the the latest FR245 (non music) software (11.60). When I go to start an activity (i.e. Run Outdoors), my FR245 will crash and reboot when I hit the button to select the type of activity. I will get the green triangle followed by the gear symbol with a progress bar on the bottom. This crash/reboot happens every second time I try to start an activity.

    Just an FYI that I updated my 245 (non music) from 5.5 to 11.6 today and I have not experienced any problems so far.

    The advice that you would probably get from about everyone, would be to save your activities (if you already haven't) I copy the entire Garmin folder using the USB cable over to my computer which includes the activities sub folder, try a power down restart (hold the top left button), if that doesn't help then a factory reset, if that doesn't help the option that's left it to contact support.

    I don't remember the keys to press for the factory reset but it's not hard to find, you do loose some information but your activities were backed up in the step above so they at least can be restored. I had to do one once but there was so little information on the watch, since the need was just a few days after I bought it,  that there was little information to loose.

    Google Garmin support phone number, it was easy to find, I talked to them a few days ago about 11.6, they were courteous and helpful, I didn't even have to wait long.
