Pace notifications (every km) without using autolap?

Hi there

I would like to have pace notifications every km show up during a run, but without using autolap set to 1km, as I would like to define my own laps. My laps are going to be a warm up/commute, a 5km (parkrun) then cool down. Is there a way to see pace notifications in this case?

Thanks

  • I don‘t think so. Maybe as some kind of very special personalized alert/notification. But I have no experience with that.

You could experiment and try „average pace“ and „pace last lap“ on a customized page, but it is not exactly what you described.

  • Just create a custom workout:

    1) warm-up - ps:  you will still receive notification every 1 km

    2) run 5km - at this point you will receive notification every 1 km, regardless warm-up

    3) cool down - ps: you will still receive notification every 1 km

  • Thanks Thanasis!

That sounds like a good option. With this method, is autolap required to give the pace notification? If so, will the laps be every KM, or will there be 3 laps? Thanks for your expertise

  • Autolap is required.

There will be 1km laps for each step.

Ex: if you warm-up for 15 minutes at pace 7:00/km you will run you 2 km and something and you will receive 2 x 1km notifications at min 7 and 14.

On the next step, 5km run in your case, the notification distance will reset to zero, and you will receive separate 1km notifications.
