trail run option doesn't appear

I have a forerunner 245 music, with all updates made, but i still doesn't have "trail run" activity, only run or run in track.

Is there something to update to have that option, or this watch version doesn't come with it?

I normally do trail run and would like to register my activity with the actual type of run.

You have to add it. Press the start button, scroll down to the +Add screen, scroll down until you see Trail Run, press the start button again. It will ask you if you want to set it as a favorite, Choose Yes or No and press enter. then you will have the option to choose where in the list of activities you want it to appear. When done, press enter again and you're done. Trail Run will now show up as an activity whenever you press the Start button.

I don't have it. I have:

stair stepper, elliptictal, breath work, walk indoor, bike indoor, track run, virtual run, other and copy activity.

Also: run, pool swim, strength, yoga, pilates, yoga, walk, cardio, row indoor, treadmill, indoor track and bike.

And I can't add anything else.

What watch do you have. Since this is the Forerunner 245 forum, I just assumed you have. a Forerunner 245.

Thats odd. My daughter and I both have non music 245's and I can see Trail run on both of them,

I have the 245M and of course it has the trail run profile. Did you look for the profile in both the watch and connect/express?

I looked in both watch and garmin express. Both are up to date.

The software version of the watch is 10.40, and I'm from Portugal.

I'm trying to figure it out with the support.

You need to add it on the garmin connect app first, then click "Activities, Apps, & More", then select "Activities & Apps". Scroll down to Trail Run and click add. Then it will show up on your watch.
