Is there a surefire way to turn off the notifications of badges, PRs, congratulations, etc.? I've tried setting it to off, but it doesn't seem to work.
First, if I run a PR or something at age 63 I'm sure I'll know without Garmin telling me. Second, just about all the notifications are false positives. I routinely get notifications for supposedly running/cycling faster or farther than I ever have, even when it's nowhere close. It happens even when I ran faster/farther for a given distance only a week or two earlier while wearing the same watch. I wonder if it only compares to the history on the watch itself, which is limited? But even then, it seems to occur even when I haven't wiped any old data from the watch.
This is a minor annoyance, but an annoyance nonetheless.Thanks for any tips.
