Software version 9.60

From this night when I look at History widget, at watch, I see just last three activities. If I go to list of activities I see last three and then next activity is from November 9th 2021 then probably all activities until august when I purchased watch and created profile. What happened will all activities between May 19th 2022 and November 9th 2021? In Garmin connect app all activities are listed, without gap.

Another fact. First watch, same model, bought in august, was faulty and replaced with brand new by official dealer/service in november.

  • What I can tell you: After updating my FR 245 to 9.60 with Garmin Express on PC, I was very surprised to see, that history was completely empty. No activities at all, and it was directly connected to that update.

Something like that had never before happened to me.

Make sure, that your watch uses the „Physio true up“ function. Then sync it.

I had to uncheck it, sync and check it again and sync, to make it work, but after that finally a huge sync session began and activities were pushed to the watch again.

Very strange indeed and the first time, I had really problems with an update (also had an issue with cadence since 9.60 and watch no longer shows VO2Max directly after runs in summary - see my other threads).

  • Thank you for advices.

First thing that came to my mind, put on side feelings (user satisfaction), was questioning magnitude of this BUG. So far, "Workout sugestion" indicates watch is connected to my current data profile in cloud. I am not sure this is also case with "Training status". I am not so experienced in using watch.

From my point of view it is ok for watch to do some automatic maintenace, with notifying user, as is deleting old activities because of "lack of memory on hardware". But this is clearly BUG and it does not look programmatically. I hope some one who saw source code of watch software will look this.
