Waypoint limit on the FR 245?

Hi Guys,

I often use this for hiking and till now have been uploading routes with only 500 waypoints. Lots of the files I get have the option of using all waypoints which might be 1500 plus.

What is the max that the FR 245 can handle? And, if I cross that, do I only lose turn by turn navigation or do I not get to see the route at all?
