Poor stable bluetooth connections with my Iphone

Hello,

This situation happened a few months ago. Suddenly, not only my range connection with my phone drop badly, event with the connection stability. I checked if it was an iphone issue or the garmin, luckly i could check with another Iphone and I had the same result. I bought this watch in 2021 June, not a year ago. I think that version 9 improved stability a little bit, but is not sufficient. When I take two steps forward from my phone it disconnects, before I could be un separate room and get the notifications. Can you please tell me what I can do to fix it?

  • I cannot offer a solution, but I have the exact the same issue. My watch keeps disconnecting from my iPhone and I constantly need to restart the watch to get it connected again.

  • I have the same problem.  Chatted with support today and they suggest updated the software version to 10.40.  I will try that this evening to see if it makes any improvement.

  • Sounds like a generic response to me: "try to update and see if it works". This has been an ongoing problem for me since version 6.something and I update my watch every time there is an update. I am on 10.40 and my watch was disconnected all day. Had to restart the watch to get it to connect.

    I have no faith that this is something they will ever fix. It is likely just broken forever.
