I have the Forerunner 245 (Version 8.30) and an Android Smartphone.
For an upcoming event on the 1st of May I wanted to use the LiveTrack feature, so my partner can track my progress.
On the Android Garmin Connect app, I went to Safety & Tracking -> LiveTrack and in the Settings enabled 2 E-Mail adresses, 1 of mine (that isn't my connected to my garmin account) and my partners, also no garmin account with that e-mail. I also selected "Extended Session Visibility", so I could check after the run how it works, or if it works at all.
On the LiveTrack Screen in the App I now have my Forerunner 245 listed with 2 toggles, "Show course" and "Auto Start", both enabled.
When I now press the "Start LiveTrack" button, it says "Auto Start enabled, Start an activity on your Forerunner 245 to begin sharing your location" and an Ok button below.
So now I go outside, select a run activity, wait for GPS lock and start it. Go for a 2h run. No E-Mail arrived on any of the 2 e-mail addresses.
Am I doing something wrong? How is it supposed to work?
