Garmin coach messes up GPS signal

Hi all,

For the last month I have been having GPS issues during my runs. The GPS would either not lock during the entire run or if it did the mapping would be completing inaccurate; messing up the route, distance and pace.

During my last run, I finished my garmin coach activity (with the GPS not locking during the entire run) and as soon as it was done I decide to press resume to continue running for some time. As soon as I did, the GPS worked and tracked my run flawlessly.

Anybody else having the same issue? Is it really possible for Garmin Coach to mess up the GPS?

no problem, sounds like either a coincidence or you should refresh your CPE (https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=6IbaJEHc1i9gydzQomXzyA).
Do you run in the same place now (when you have the problems) and before (when it worked)? If not then where do you run nowadays? (high buildings / high hills around, ....)
