Training Effect - no Anaerobic measurement

Just wondered if anyone has had this issue and/or found a solution.

A little while ago my FR245 music, stopped recording the Training Effect properly.

I get readings for Aerobic (usually Highly Impacting) from my runs, but 0.0 (No Benefit) for the Anaerobic measurements.

Each run is typically 8 miles, done in around 1 hour 10 minutes (I'll be 69 in August), including a couple of pretty steep hills. Heart rate, as measured by my watch is typically in the 160-166 range, but goes over 170 on the hills.

I would have thought that runs of this type, three times a week, should trigger some sort of Anaerobic measurement. It certainly used to.

Anyone got any ideas?

Kind regards,

Nigel

  • Not had any anaerobic effort on my last few runs. Don't understand it as normally the effort is split. Wonder what Garmin had changed this time?

    Anyone else seeing this?

  • All,
