GPS Software Version 6.00

The announcement says this can be updated through the Garmin Connect app...I'm not seeing where that is? My watch says version 5.30 for GPS and I'd like to install the update.

Is this not pushed to our devices like the main software updates??

    Yeah sure, there is always something more important than a sportswatch.

    But that is not the point. It is not even the point that I am missing a feature, GPS 5.30 works fine for me.

    The point is: Why the heck does  announce something that is not delivered and then does not react with a single post? It is just extremely weird. If GPS 6.00 had not been announced - all good. But now I expect it to be delivered or at least an explanation why it is not delivered, opposing the announcement.

    Thank you for the comment. This note has not been there when the announcement was posted! Obviously  rather edits old posts than answering me and the other here in this thread.

    Somehow disappointing, but at least we know now why we remain on GPS 5.30. If this additional information had been there from the start, we would not have been confused.

    Here on Garmin's forum you can't rely on time and date of posts published by Garmin. There is no 'last edit' information. They can change what they want on their post as they like, so they can make us dumb, what the NOTE added later perfectly prove.
