Strength app overwriting weight inputs

Every time I do barbell squats I get home and see that they have all been detected as bodyweight squats. The issue with this is that it overwrites the weight I entered while exercising, forcing me to have to input it manually which takes away a lot of the convenience of using the watch in the first place. This issue only started happening recently but it's driving me crazy. I never do bodyweight squats and I don't want to watch to assume I'm doing them. Is there a way to disable to auto detection or disable certain exercises in the app? I really don't mind inputing the exercises when I get home but I don't want to have to remember the weight of every set
