Stopwatch

Hello all, i have a question: can i use my stopwatch during the recording while i run? When i run and record my run and i press the "light" button for the dial selection for selecting the stopwatch, i hear the watch bleep and apparently the recording was set on pause. Is there a way to use the stopwatch while on the background the run recording continues?

I don‘t think so, but I‘m not sure.

Would using the lap button be an option for you? While starting a manual lap, you can see the lap time and use that as a stopwatch. Plus, you have it in your recordings of the run.

Thanks for the answer. Im leading a group of people during a high intensive interval training with time blocks. I will strap the old polar on my right wrist for the stopwatch function :)
