I've got a new 245 and I'm wondering if it's possible to start a planned workout or a set of intervals during an activity (that was started before as a free run). E.g. I'll start from home, do some warmup and when I know how I'm feeling, I'd like to decide what training to do that day. So maybe start some intervals or some planned workout for tempo training or whatever.
Is there any possibilty to do this without having to stop my activity recording? I don't get it.. It seems to me there isn't, what's really weird. Like when I'm doing a free warmup and then decide what I want to do, I'll have to stop my activity recording and start a new one. When I'd do warmup -> any kind of planned workout --> intervals --> cool down, I would come home with four different activities that were recorded, right? So how should I be able then to see my overall training effect in that session and so on?.. for sure, I could pre plan everything at home, add a warmup until pressing the lap button. But this still wouldn't give me the freedom of deciding during a training what I want to do next. Please help
