Native navigation on Forerunner 245 Import GPX routes?

HI all, upgrading from a FR235 to a FR245, on my FR235 I have to use DW map in order to follow GPX files that I have loaded off the internet. with the FR245 will I be able to import and navigate a GPX file off the web using only the native FR245 software or will I have to rely on DW maps again?

I ask as I dont seem to be able to find a definite answer online and I am upgrading primarily due to needing a better solution to navigation in my long distances races without spending alot on a higher model.

i am importing GPX files thru Garmin connect (Training/Courses) hope this helps..

For me it does, i'm a long distance walker. Allways use 120m zoom modus. And when cutting my GPX files to a length of about 20km i have direction notifications.
