gym tracking just for calorie estimate and time stamp to record the activity and log it, not the sets/reps/details

I do a 5x5 routine 3 days a week.  I log what I'm doing in a totally separate app (stronglifts 5x5 and pen/paper).

I have a 245 watch (very new to me, less than a week) and I need to know how to log the workout - NOT the details, just the fact that I started at 530AM and stopped at 615AM and have it log that as "GYM" activity along with whatever it thinks I burned for cal.  I do not want to log rep, set, weight or any specifics at all.  thanks.

  • Just log is as „Cardio“ Activity (or any other that seems to fit and is indoor, so not searching for GPS). Have a look at the activities available for FR245 in the store, you will find something.

    You can additionally add a title and comments in Garmin Connect after syncronizing.
