swimming with garmin 245

I have a garmin 245 and I tried to swim in a pool of 25 meters, and I set the watch to a pool of 25 meters .

And the watch didn't count any meter only count the heartbeat.

Can anyone advise? Or give me some tips?

There is a bug after software 7.20. Every time you charge you watch you need to turn it off and on again to activate the swim sensor.

I experienced this issues when charging the watch through my W10 computer with Garmin Express installed, mos of the functionality of the watch is bugged until I restar it.

If I charge the watch on a wall plug it works well and I don't need to restart
