My Garmin Forerunner is no longer connecting to GPS

For the last week, my Garmin Forerunner 245 Music hasn’t been connecting to GPS so my runs have no geographical data and the the pace is off. I haven’t changed any settings and I cannot figure out how to get it to connect when I am outside. It did automatically before.

Have you updated garmin? Mine was like this and I updated it seems that it solved.

Hi. Thank you. I haven’t updated but it is synced with my Garmin connect so does that just update it automatically? Otherwise, how do I update? Thanks!

You need to sync through garmin express and then it will ask you to update.

If you have auto update turned on in system settings on your watch when you connect to Garmin connect via your phone it should update itself. You don't need to use Garmin express on your PC unless it won't update.

yes correct, but in my case it was configured to update and did not update, as it was with an error I put it on the cable and then the update appeared.
