Forerunner 245 Music restarts when trying to connect to Wi-Fi

Hi,

Since a few weeks ago my Forerunner 245 Music will not connect to Wi-Fi anymore. Whenever it tries to connect, whether while charging, trying to sync with Spotify or testing the Wi-Fi connection from the Connect app on my phone, the watch briefly displays "Searching for Wi-Fi network" and then restarts. This makes it impossible to sync my Spotify library (as I understand the only way to do that is through wi-fi, right?).

I suspect the problem is somehow related to the current firmware (7.80) that was installed about 4 weeks ago, as I'm sure the problem only first manifested itself about three weeks ago.

Some of the things I've already tried after searching for solutions on this forum:

- Forget all wi-fi networks on the watch and reinstall only the relevant wi-fi network, both through the Connect app and through the watch itself
- Try to connect via wi-fi hotspot on phone
- Factory reset of the watch
- Installing beta of software version 8.02

Unfortunately none of the above has solved the issue.

Any suggestions for a possible solution to this problem?
