White spot on my Garmin Forerunner 245 watch face

I noticed what appears to be small white lines on my Forerunner 245 watch face in the upper left corner. Is there any way to remove them? I've only had it for about 8 months....Please see attached photo.

Thanks! I was just reading this thread. I guess I will be getting my 8 month old Garmin replaced..... Ughhhh
