Tonight I went to the restroom (about 20 steps) and the watch detected it as rem slee. I woke up and stayed in bed with muy phone for 30 minutes and it still said I was sleeping. So at least for me sleep tracking is quite bad.
It's the same sleep analysis. The only difference is it's available on a widget and you get a sleep score and insights. For example, sleep score 36, your sleep was poor and you should consider taking it easy today. Does anyone really need a number to tell them how they slept and if they're tired or feel well rested? If only I had a number and someone to tell me how to proceed with my life today. It's a gimmick that brings no value to the watch. I tried it on my F6 and 945 and removed the widget after a week or two.

You might have removed the widget from your FR945 and F6, but behind the scenes they are still using a better algorithm made by people at Firstbeat to calculate sleep times and stages.
