Ever since 2 or 3 days, the battery drained completely over the course of the night.

Ever since 2 or 3 days, the battery of my Forerunner 245 Music drained completely over the course of the night. At first, I thought the cable wasn't plugged in right while charging because the watch died after a couple of hours with no activity. But the next day the same thing happened again. Is that a hardware or a software problem? I already did a complete reset (the one where you press "Start" and "Back" while booting up), but it still drained out after 10 hours with no activity tracking.

  • Call Garmin - this is a known issue with the new software update.  I have the same thing on my 945.  They had me put a trace log on my watch that uploads periodicially to Garmin; it will help their engineers diagnose the culprit.
