Trail Running VO2 Max Latest Opinions?

Interested to know how people are finding the new Trail Running VO2 Max feature and how their trail runs now stack up against previous measures.

I've a new watch (old one broke a month ago) so I've been without VO2 max data for a while so would struggle to make an assessment, with nothing recent to compare against. 

As my rough trail runs in the park involve 16 rises (41m total rise) I'm considering switching from using "Running" to using "Trail Running" feature.

Thoughts welcome.
