Watch face reset after connecting to pc

Since a while now, my watch face gets reset every time i connect my watch to the pc running Garmin Express. This is highly annoying since i always connect to my pc to charge the watch ...

The watch i am using is a forerunner 245 music.

How can i prevent this?

    I have the same problem. I use my PC to charge my watch and Garmin Express doesn't recognize it and every minute or so the watch reboots. I have Forerunner 245, non music, and this just started happening within the last few days. There was a Garmin Express update that I installed a few days ago, but it sync'd then. Ever since then, the watch keeps rebooting...which is really fun to listen to it make the USB disconnect/connect sound a few hundred times.

    I called support and they had me completely uninstall Garmin Express, reboot, and re-install. This fixed the problem for me. It may fix your issue as well.
