No correcting for elevation in track running mode

Hi there,

I only recently discovered the track run mode on my 245M. Pretty sweet feature. However, it doesn't correct bogus elevation changes. The track where I run often has between 6 and 10 m elevation changes per lap according to Garmin. That's not the case in reality, of course and has bugged me for some time. I thought the track mode would correct that, but apparantly it doesn't. Or am I missing something?

If not, could you please fix that, Garmin? Would make sense as there are probably no tracks with notable changes in elevation.

Cheers!

Edit: Tried it again today, but the elevation ist still not corrected for the track I'm running on. The GPS track itself is fine, so it is recognized as a track, just not for altitude. Any advice here?
